Increased Profitability

Decreased cost for nitrogen. The spiraling costs of urea and other chemical nitrogen sources is placing increasing pressures on profitability and TwinN has proven effective in reducing, or eliminating, the needs for these fertilisers in a wide variety of cropping systems. TwinN will greatly reduce the cost of supplying nitrogen to your crops. Please refer to TwinN Mechanism of Action for information on how this is achieved. Refer also to Crop Application for the recommended combination of TwinN and reduced rates of nitrogen fertiliser application for different crops.

Increased yield. Use of TwinN, alone or in combination with reduced nitrogen fertiliser, will increase yield, or enable equivalent yield with reduced fertiliser costs. This increases profitability.

Increased quality. In horticultural crops, where there is a significant effect of quality on profitability, TwinN users have noted increased size, quality and value of their produce.

Better utilization of other nutrients. Use of TwinN has been shown to increase the availability of phosphorous and some micronutrients.

Better root growth. In addition to supplying nitrogen, TwinN microbes produce substances that induce faster, more extensive root growth and this enables better utilization of available water and nutrients. TwinN crops have shown increased resilience to lodging and better tolerance of drought stress.
