Soil Matters is a biological and Organic consultancy business. We offer professional advice on soil improvement that enhances soil Biology and balances the nutrients.

 

Soil Matters sources the best and the most cost effective products from not only Australia, but around the globe to enhance the bottom line of Primary production, all whilst enhancing natural ecosystems and encouraging soil health.

 

We are devoted to the well being of our land and farm in a way that is not only sustainable but leaves our soils in better shape than we were originally given. This is our duty to those that follow in our farming footsteps.

 

The quality of produce is exceptional. Stock health is significantly higher and the food chain is enhanced. If we continue to look at our own health as “we are what we we eat “, then this approach to farming and primary food production is the only way we should be adopting.

 

Soil Matters originated from a farming enterprise in the Riverina, a farming operation that was not seeing the results from chemical intervention and synthetic fertiliser. In fact what was happening was a gradual decline in the bottom line, a higher dependence on chemicals and more disease and pest pressure. Soils were out of balance with little biology within. The change was made to more of a biological approach and the wave began.

 

Soil Matters was launched as a consultancy business in 2006.

 

Cameron Wood is the director of Soil Matters. You will find him most at home and most of the time in the paddock talking to like minded growers. He is passionate about this approach to agriculture and has a degree in this field together with 15 years experience.
